Padhchinh

Translating to "elephant footprint" in Sanskrit, this series is an embodiment of the artist's journey thus far. It is a physical mark of the connection she has with elephants, the role they've played in her journey as well as a celebration of their own journey. This series was inspired first at Wildlife SOS in India, and 100% proceeds go back to the sanctuary.

In some of her work, you'll notice footprints marked on top of historical fort settings. This is significant of the elephants' touristic past that they have now left behind in being rehabilitated at Wildlife SOS.

March To Freedom is a documentary video of the artist collaborating with the elephants who have left a painful past behind and now live in the Wildlife SOS sanctuary in Mathura.
